Free Speech

leave a comment »

It seems that the principals and laws regarding freedom of speech only apply to the government.

Organizations limit any individuals right to express themselves.

The news media has always practiced censorship.

Social media and other internet sites have followed suit.

Colleges and universities also limit who can speak on campus and what they can say.

What is the common factor in their limitations on free speech?

The truth and/or facts.

They all are against facts and/or truth.

Speak or write either and you get censored, banned, your account closed, etc.

Any public forum such as the news media or social media that limits freedom of speech is evil.

No ifs, ands or buts.

No exceptions.

EVIL.

Propaganda(lies) are popular and protected.

Most Americans know the truth/facts.

Most of them seem afraid to speak out.

Why?

—  fear of being ridiculed or being unpopular

—  want to be seen as nice

—  fear of violence

—  too lazy or weak

—  do not want to get involved

Let’s make it plain.

It is all Americans responsibility to get involved.

Protecting the truth is each American’s duty.

Are you an American or not?

ISSUE — NATIONAL DEBT

leave a comment »

The National Debt is the total amount of outstanding money borrowed by the federal government.

It is how much the federal government owes.

There are two major sides to the issue:

—  those who feel it is financially bad for the nation; that it harms the economy

—  those who feel it does not matter;  the money is owed to ourselves

Having a national  debt is harmful to a nation; especially if it keeps getting bigger and bigger as that of the US does.

Why?

Some facts:

—  the government does not owe the money to ourselves; even if it did, it would still be bad for the nation

—  government debt is a means to provide almost unlimited funds for corrupt and/or incompetent politicians to waste, buy votes, or give to themselves

—  more government debt means higher interest rates unless manipulated by the government;  greater demand for borrowed money

Politicians, lowquals, freeloaders, do-gooders, and other corrupt groups are in favor of more and more government spending.

Having access to almost endless borrowing, makes it seem like free money.

Government should have to have a annual budget surplus(except in war time or in case of a natural disaster).

Only, the federal government is allowed to have an annual budget deficit.

Why?

Corruption.

ISSUE — INFLATION

leave a comment »

Inflation is the sustained increase in the prices of goods and services over a period of time.

Or the lack of stable prices.

Inflation has been continuous for decades.

It is not going away.

It is a constant in the economy.

It is also a hidden tax; as wages go up, so do taxes.

Inflation erodes the purchasing power of consumers.

Especially, as for most people, their wages do not keep up with inflation.

A strong economy needs stable prices.

Citizens’ quality of life is harmed by inflation.

Inflation is the result of corrupt and/or incompetent government policies.

ISSUE — TAXATION

leave a comment »

Taxation is a levy by government upon citizens and legal residents.

It is money the government takes by force.

Taxes along with fees and penalties are the government’s income.

The government does not have to justify the amount/rate of these assessments.

It just takes.

Nor does government have to justify its spending of these funds.

Higher taxes means

—  less money for citizens

—  weaker economy

—  more government corruption

—  greater government ineffeciency

As well as taxes being too high, there are too many different taxes, fees and penalties.

And at all levels of government.

Greater tax simplification and massive tax cuts are needed.

This is easily done without any reduction in necessary government services.
