Update – Status Of America

leave a comment »

More and more Americans are not happy with the way things are going at “home”. They’re not happy with the growth of intrusive government, economic decline, the loss of jobs, runaway indebtedness, increasing taxation, and the general trend away from the America they once knew.

They have every right to be unhappy.

Politicians have destroyed the nation of your forefathers; the nation of prosperity and success.  The worst of which is u-bam-a.

Both the Democrats or the Republicans have damaged the nation with their policies of do anything to get re-elected and keep their personal wealth and power.

Past time for a change.

If Americans want to change the course of the nation, they will HAVE to get INVOLVED.  This means more than joining a political party and voting, or even campaigning for a candidate.

No involvement by Americans and the United States will become a third world country.

Need guidance?

Why Millions Of Americans Are Incredibly Angry About The State Of The U.S. Economy

12 Reasons Why Millions Of Americans Are Incredibly Angry About The State Of The U.S. Economy

We have reached a very interesting turning point in American history.  More than at any other point in modern times, Americans are deeply angry about the state of the economy. In fact, it is no stretch to say that millions of U.S. citizens are hopping mad about the economic situation. Most of them don’t know exactly what is wrong, and even fewer of them have any idea about how to go about fixing things, but they do know one thing. They know that they are mad. As Americans, we were raised with the belief that our overwhelmingly powerful economic machine would always provide good jobs and prosperity for all of us as long as we worked hard. But we have come to learn that is not true. We have come to learn that our politicians and our leaders have squandered the great inheritance that our forefathers left for us. We have come to learn that the financial future of our nation is beyond bleak. We have come to learn that our government has piled up the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world. Now the foolish decisions of the past several decades are catching up with us.  The U.S. economy is experiencing structural failure, and the American people are angry. They want answers. They want someone to fix things. They want things to go back to the way they used to be.

But that isn’t going to happen. Once the American people truly start realizing that, the anger that will erupt will dwarf what we are seeing now.

Not that they are aren’t already incredibly steamed. The following are 12 reasons why many Americans are absolutely furious about the state of the U.S. economy:

#1) There simply are not enough jobs for everyone. The number of unemployed Americans per job opening has started to increase again, hitting 5.5 in February. Even many of those who are able to get some work find themselves only able to obtain part-time employment.  Gallup’s underemployment measure hit 20.0% on March 15th. This was up from 19.7% two weeks earlier and 19.5% at the start of the year.

#2) More Americans than ever find themselves having to rely on the U.S. government just to survive. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, about 39.4 million Americans, a new all-time record,  received food stamps in January. This was up 22% from a year earlier.  In fact, the number of Americans on food stamps has hit all-time records for 14 consecutive months.

#3) Foreclosures continue to set records across the United States.  RealtyTrac, the California-based authority on property trends and valuations, projects that there will be 4.5 million home foreclosures before the end of this year. If you figure 4 people per household, that is another 18 million people that will be forced out of their homes.

#4) As unemployment and foreclosures continue to soar, “tent slums” have started popping up all over the United States. Is this why our founding fathers fought and died? So we could all live in “tent slums”?

#5) But even with all of these economic problems, the price of food is going up. Rising demand and reduced supply drove supermarket prices for 16 basic foods up 6.2% in the first quarter of 2010.

#6) Due to the exploding government debt, the American people are going to be confronted with some tough choices. According to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, the United States will soon have to make difficult choices between higher taxes and reduced social spending. Either alternative will slow down the U.S. economy.

#7) Meanwhile, corruption in the financial system is running rampant.  The CEOs of bailed-out regional banks are actually getting big raises.  The guy who helped bring down AIG is going to get off scott-free and will be able to keep the millions in profits that he made in the process.

#8) But the biggest fraud is being committed by the boys at the top of the food chain. A whistle blower has come forward with “smoking gun”  evidence of price manipulation by major financial institutions in the precious metals  markets. The scope of this fraud is in the trillions of dollars. The American people can’t stomach much more of this type of thing.

#9) Almost all financial experts agree that the era of super cheap money is over and that interest rates are about to rise significantly.  This is going to make it much more expensive for most Americans to borrow money to buy a home, to buy a car, to buy things with their credit cards or to borrow money for education. Those who already have adjustable loans are going to find a much larger portion of their income going to pay interest. Needless to say, this is going to cause the U.S. economy to experience a significant slowdown.

#10) One of the biggest things that the American people are upset about is the “health care reform” bill that was just rammed down their throats. It turns out that “health care reform” is actually going to be the biggest tax increase in American history. Not only that, but because of taxes and mandates imposed upon health insurance companies by the legislation, health insurance premiums are also about to increase substantially. So where will the average American family get the money to pay for these increases?

#11) In addition, the new health care law that was supposed to give all of us much better health care is actually going to force the cancellation of at least 60 doctor-owned hospitals that were scheduled to be opened according to the executive director of Physician Hospitals of America. Why? Well, it turns out that the new law singles out physician -owned hospitals, making new physician-owned projects ineligible to receive payments for Medicare and Medicaid

#12) The reality is that Americans are increasingly becoming disenchanted with the lack of leadership in both political parties.  Approval ratings for leaders in both parties are extremely low, and anger at politicians is at an all-time high. The Tea Party movement is just one symptom of the seething anger many Americans are feeling.  While many Americans are gathering together at large protest rallies to demonstrate against the policies of the government, others are expressing their displeasure on blogs and websites. There has never been a moment in modern times when Americans have been so disenchanted with their political leadership.

This anger is not going to go away. It could be soothed a bit if the U.S. economy was fully fixed and things went back to the way they used to be. But as noted previously, that just is not going to happen. Harder times are ahead. Americans are going to get angrier and angrier.

But there is not much that can be done to prevent that anger. The politicians who are in office when things really hit the fan are going to take the brunt of the anger, but it won’t be their fault. The truth is that this economic collapse has been building for decades.  The American people are just not going to understand that the financial system cannot be fixed overnight.

Dark times are coming. It is not going to be pretty. There is going to be a lot of anger and a lot of hate. But all of these economic problems could be seen well ahead of time and there have been those who have been screaming and yelling about them for decades.

But very few people wanted to listen.

Though the article is from 3 years ago, everything in it is more applicable today.

Some of the things in the article are NOT true, but the main point is.

The economy of the United States is in ruins and going downhill fast.

And while some Americans are mad as hell, no one is doing anything about it.

People are whining like spoiled brats, but will not get involved.

NEW POLITICAL PARTY can turn the economy; it is the probably the only hope the United States has.

20 Examples Of How America Is Rapidly Going Down The Toilet

Deep corruption is eating away at every level of American society
like cancer.  We can see this in our families, we can see this in
our businesses, and we can especially see this in our government.
We have the highest rate of divorce in the world, we have the
highest rate of teen pregnancy in the world, we have the highest
rate of obesity in world, and nobody has higher rates of cancer,
heart disease and diabetes than we do.  The suicide rate is soaring
and our economy is falling apart.  Meanwhile, our politicians seem
absolutely clueless and we have piled up the biggest mountain of
debt that the world has ever seen.  Has America ever been in such
bad shape before?  The following are 20 examples of how America is
rapidly going down the toilet.

#1 Why do so many members of the media have family members that work
for the White House?  Is this one of the reasons why the mainstream
media is so soft on Obama?  Just check out the following list which
was recently compiled by the Washington Post.

The list of prominent news people with close White House relations
includes ABC News President Ben Sherwood, who is the brother of
Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, a top national-security adviser to
President Obama. His counterpart at CBS, news division president
David Rhodes, is the brother of Benjamin Rhodes, a key foreign-policy
specialist. CNN’s deputy Washington bureau chief, Virginia Moseley,
is married toTom Nides, who until earlier this year was deputy
secretary of state under Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Further, White House press secretary Jay Carney’s wife is
Claire Shipman, a veteran reporter for ABC. And NPR’s White House
correspondent, Ari Shapiro, is married to a lawyer, Michael Gottlieb
who joined the White House counsel’s office in April.

#2 Why are IRS agents training with AR-15 rifles? Exactly who do
those IRS agents expect to be using those weapons against?

#3 The city of Detroit is on the verge of declaring the largest
municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history, but a 41-year-old city worker
is about to starting drawing a $96,000 annual pension.

Matt Schenk isn’t your average retiree. He’s 41, works full-time
and collects $194,000 a year at the Detroit Water and Sewerage

But as soon as next month, he’ll start collecting an estimated
$96,000 annual pension, courtesy of an early retirement incentive
offered to Wayne County appointees. It had no age restriction.

#4 The number of sexual assaults in the U.S. military is up 35
percent since 2010.

#5 The suicide rate for Americans between the ages of 35 and 64
rose by close to 30 percent between 1999 and 2010. The number of
Americans that are killed by suicide now exceeds the number of
Americans that die as a result of car accidents.

#6 The United States has the highest rate of obesity on the planet
by far. The U.S. also has the highest rate of cancer, the highest
rate of heart disease and the highest rate of diabetes.

#7 An illegal immigrant brutally raped and killed a 9-month-old girl
in Richland, Washington recently, but you won’t hear anything about
it from the big mainstream news networks because it might hurt the
immigration bill being pushed through Congress.

#8 Even though the United States has been able to fully secure the
border between North Korea and South Korea for the past 60 years,
U.S. Senator Check Schumer says that it would take “years and years
and years” to secure the border between the United States and Mexico.

#9 All over America illegal immigrants are turning pleasant
communities into crime-infested cesspools. The following is what
Doug Hoagland says is going on down in California.

Three decades ago, before past amnesties opened the flood gates
to illegal criminals, all of the farming communities mentioned in
this report were thriving small towns with low crime rates and
an extremely pleasing quality of life. Now, every single one of
these once fine little towns are cesspools of crime, infested with
drug smugglers, anchor baby welfare trolls, where decent people
can no longer walk the streets at night. According to the latest
census report Selma is, like most of California’s invaded cities,
78 percent Hispanic and likely half of them illegal.

Also cited in this same report is the tragic fact that the local
jails are so full these criminals must be turned out early to make
way for the next fresh batch of arrestees. The Chief of Police
lamented the fact that the “criminal early out” program allows the
newly released criminals to go out and commit more crime.

During my entire 22-year Air Force career I always dreamed
of retiring to my sedate and peaceful little town where I grew
up. Then I came home, took a look around, saw the gangsters and the
prolific graffiti that graces every street in town and decided to
dwell elsewhere.

#10 The U.S. family is rapidly breaking down. 100 years ago, 4.52
were living in the average U.S. household, but now the average
U.S. household only consists of 2.59 people.

#11 The NSA spies on virtually everything that we do, but the Obama
administration has banned U.S. law enforcement officials from spying
on Islamic mosques without special permission.

#12 Why is the University of Chicago removing pews from an
88-year-old chapel in order to make room to accommodate Islamic
prayer rugs?

#13 Barack Obama has decided to allow the sale of the Plan B One-Step
abortion pill to girls under the age of 17 without a prescription.
So now young girls will be able to go to the drug store and pick
up these pills at any time and their parents might not ever find
out about it.

#14 The United States has lost more than 56,000 manufacturing
facilities since 2001, and millions upon millions of good paying
jobs have been shipped out of the country.  But Barack Obama is
secretly negotiating even more “free trade” agreements which will
destroy our economic infrastructure even further.

#15 The state legislature of California has just passed a law that
allows boys to shower with girls in the public schools if that is
more “consistent” with their gender identity.

#16 Why is Barack Obama strongly against a measure that is being
proposed in Congress that would protect the “religious liberty”
of American service members?

#17 In the United States today, the government treats military
veterans like human garbage.  Back in 2009, the number of veterans
that had been waiting for more than a year to have their veteran
benefits approved was 11,000.  Today, that number has soared to
245,000. While they are waiting, the federal government is glad
to provide them with “end of life” literature that helps them to
determine when their lives are “no longer worth living”.

#18 Today, the U.S. ranks only 51st in the world for life expectancy
even though we spend far more on health care than anyone else on
the planet does. Sadly, our health care system has become a giant
money making scam that is not really concerned about whether most
of us live or die.

#19 The level of government dependence in the United States is at
a level that we have never seen before. Back in 1960, the ratio of
social welfare benefits to salaries and wages was approximately 10
percent.  In the year 2000, the ratio of social welfare benefits to
salaries and wages was approximately 21 percent.  Today, the ratio
of social welfare benefits to salaries and wages is approximately
35 percent.

#20 The U.S. national debt is now $16,738,704,836,178.59, and it is
being projected that it will increase by another 106 trillion dollars
over the next 30 years. Of course that will never happen. The truth
is that the financial system of America will totally collapse long
before we ever add another 106 trillion dollars to our debt.

The above article by  Michael Snyder

If even just a little of this is true(and more than a little is true), then the nation is in dire straits;  the nation is DOOMED, unless something is done NOW!

The people of the United States seem to be too:

– too lazy

–  too stupid

– too uncaring

– too worthless

The list could go on.

There are very few Americans left:  people with American values.

The United States was once a great nation; and could be again, if the people would take action.
