Issue – Immigration

leave a comment »

Both legal and illegal immigration are issues facing the nation.

It is definitely a hot button issue with a high emotional context.  It affects the United States politically, socially and economically.   Because of the various axis of involvement, Americans may find themselves on one side on one axis and on the other side on another axis.

Immigration can be both a blessing and a burden to the nation.

Issue – Health Care System

with one comment

The health care system in the United States is broken.

The United States spends much more money on health care than any other country.  At the same time, the quality of health care ranks in the 30’s.  This is total lunacy.

The health of American citizens is a reflection of this and ranks at about the same level as those in many second world nations.

There are many factors that cause this.

It is not just a simple matter of controlling costs, or bringing health care to more Americans.

The blame for this rests not only with politicians/government and the health care industry; individuals also must share the blame.

Many believe that the solution is socialized medicine; a government run health care system with universal health care.

Americans deserve first class health care at a cost that is less that of other nations.  This can be done.

Found on the internet:

I also caught up on some reading and stumbled across an article in the Globe and Mail that made me shake my head.

It had to do with a bunch of ‘experts’ who were getting together to try and solve a brain-drain problem on the East Coast of Canada.

Statistics showed that young people were leaving the Atlantic provinces to seek their fortunes elsewhere (asany self-reliant individual should do if they have no opportunity where they are now).

All of this was well and good until the article finished with, “By next year, conference leaders hope to release a white paper with substantive recommendations on how to
remake the Atlantic region more attractive for business
By NEXT year?

Why not this year?

Why not this month?

Why not now?

And really, a “white paper”?
That’s politically incorrect terminology for “a useless, but impractical consensus from a bunch of experts who have no skin in the game but are happy to take consulting fees”.
They don’t get it. They don’t realize that the problem needs to be dealt with NOW.And so they are going to take their sweet time because there’s no REAL pressure on them.
This is exactly how the POLITICIANS works.  This is a primary reason AMERICA is “going to hell in a hand basket”.
It does NOT have to be this way.  Solutions are available NOW.
If you want America restored NOW, join us.

The facts no one wants to read.

Comments and referrals to this blog would be greatly appreciated.

Issue – Federal Government Corruption

leave a comment »

The Federal Government is corrupt, maybe not like in the third world, but still corrupt.

Every time an American picks up a newspaper, turns on the television or surfs the internet; Federal Government corruption is on display.

Some examples of serious corruption or plain evil:

-TSA agents repeatedly commit sexual offenses but never apprehend any terrorists.

-Politicians receive excessive salaries and benefits but never accomplish anything.

-A government that cannot and/or will not enforce the laws of the nation.

-A government that repeatedly sells out American interests, and not even for a high price.

-Politicians ignore the Constitution and the principals of the Founding Fathers.

-A government that caters to every special interest group.

-A government that wastes every tax dollar it gets its hands on and more.

-Politicians that will do anything to get elected except their job.

The list could go on and on.

Issue – Education

leave a comment »

The quality of education in the United States continues to decline.  This is shameful.  General education is poor and the number of degrees issued in B-STEM(business, science, technology, engineering, math) is disgracefully low.

The quality of education affects the economy and the quality of life.  Higher education quality and levels means more and better jobs, improved health care, and a lower cost but improved quality of life.

You, your children, everybody deserves a quality education at a reasonable price.  There is no reason for the United States not to have the best education system in the world.  It is not about spending more money on education; in fact the education system can be greatly improved while at the same time reducing spending on education.

This is easy to do by returning to the values of the founding fathers.

Issue – Crime

leave a comment »

Crime is damaging the society and economy of the United States.  Crime is costing taxpayers billions of dollars and clogging the judicial system.  It is also hurting individuals and damaging their property.  Some people are living in fear of criminals.

It does not have to be this way.

With a few simple changes, the crime rate could be cut while reducing the costs to the nation.  People could live happier, more productive and safer lives.
